Lauren’s passion for photography really became apparent in her late teens, as her interest in documenting the music scene around her grew more intense. She started with her dad’s 1970s Minolta SRT101 and quickly became an avid camera collector. Living in Los Angeles and being surrounded by music, endless action and the vast, ever-changing crowds of fans and musicians in her hometown, Lauren has naturally become the go-to girl for local band photos, flyers and album covers. A transition from strictly live-event photography to studio work proved to be only natural; Lauren’s range of skills and techniques is as varied as her subject matter.

Many people say that it isn’t what you know, but who you know. In Lauren’s case, both apply. Between the connections and friendships she’s forged effortlessly, the reputation she is steadily building and her baccalaureate degree in photography and graphic design, Lauren’s photographic future is lens flare-bright.
